Terms of Service

Last updated 7 October 2026

These terms form the agreement between you and Planned Memories (company registration in progress) (trading as Planned Memories) when you use our website and planning platform. By creating an account you accept them. If you list a business with us, our supplier terms apply as well.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 to hold an account.
  • Give accurate details and keep them current. Verify your email address when asked.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • A couple may invite a second partner as a co-owner. A co-owner has full access to the shared wedding plan, including guest data and payments, and can act on the account. Only invite someone you intend to give that access.
  • Helpers you invite see only what you share with them, according to the visibility you set.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload anything unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, obscene or misleading.
  • Upload images, audio or video you do not have the rights to.
  • Use another person's details without their permission, or add someone to a guest list who has asked you not to.
  • Scrape, copy or resell supplier listings or platform content.
  • Attempt to access another account, probe our security, or interfere with the service.
  • Use the platform to send marketing or bulk messages.
  • Send files through our contact form that contain malware, or that you have no right to share.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these rules, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Guest data is your responsibility

When you add guests, you decide what is collected and why — in data protection terms you are the controller of that information and we process it for you. You confirm that you are entitled to share those details with us, and that you will pass on our privacy notice if a guest asks how their data is used. You must remove a guest promptly if they ask you to.

Suppliers are introductions, not endorsements

We review supplier listings before they go live, but we do not vet every claim, licence, insurance policy or piece of work. Any booking, quote or contract is between you and the supplier directly. We are not a party to it and are not liable for a supplier's performance, cancellation, pricing or conduct. Please carry out your own checks and read the supplier's own terms before you commit.

Planning suggestions and AI features

Timelines, budgets, task lists, ritual suggestions and supplier matches are generated automatically from what you tell us. They are suggestions to help you decide, not professional, legal, financial or religious advice, and they can be wrong or incomplete. Always check anything that matters before acting on it. Sameh, our planning concierge, only drafts and suggests — you review every enquiry before it is sent, and supplier matches are never influenced by payment.

Payments

  • Using the planning platform as a couple is free unless we tell you otherwise before you are charged.
  • Payments you make to a supplier through the platform are processed by our payment provider. We never store your card details.
  • Invoices raised by a supplier are that supplier's document; disputes over the amount or the work are between you and them.
  • Any refund follows the supplier's own policy and your statutory rights.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a licence to store, display and process it solely to run the service for you — for example showing your colour scheme on an invitation or sending your guest list to a caterer at your instruction. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

Availability

We aim to keep the platform running but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates and faults can interrupt access. We may change or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of anything significant.

Our liability

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profit, lost opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £100.

If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in these terms.

Ending your account

You can close your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your personal data other than records we must keep by law, and does not delete a partner co-owner's separate account. We may close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use the platform after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
